Sarah is passionate about using the tools of yoga to help alleviate anxiety, depression, insomnia and persistent pain while creating conditions for deep rest. She is especially interested in helping people to hear the voice of their true nature through quiet and contemplative practices. She is a certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists and has been teaching yoga for almost 10 years. Sarah's classes tend to be gentle and therapeutic with an emphasis on using the breath to help calm the nervous system and movement to gently release physical tension. Her classes are great for those who are new to yoga, are injured, or are craving a quiet, reflective practice.
Sarah works one-on-one with Yoga Therapy clients in person in Portland and online from anywhere. She is currently training to be a Spiritual Director and loves to work with clients who are feeling lost or overwhelmed by life and are looking for a connection with something bigger.
