Micki’s love for yoga began 30 years ago right here in the Northwest when she attended University of Oregon. Her approach is centered on the belief that we all are blessed with unique bodies that we know better than anyone else.  Living in a bigger body has made her passionate about accessibility in yoga classes.  

 

Yoga has provided her with time and introspection while facing life’s struggles with hypothyroid, PCOS, cancer, and as a balance to her career as a math teacher. She was inspired to deepen her tools for self-care to prepare to adopt her teenage daughter by doing a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Refuge in 2017.
