Emerging from the Pandemic: Caring for Ourselves and Others with Heart
with Laura Martin
Wednesday, June 30, 6.30 - 8 pm
Live Zoom Class
It’s clear there is some sort of emergence happening, and yet it may not be clear what that will look like. You may be having mixed feelings, or unexpected feelings about what the pandemic has been like, and what might be happening next.
If we have learned anything from the past year, this life is fundamentally unpredictable. And yet, how can we meet our life, our purpose, our loved ones with a sense of open-heartedness, groundedness, and confidence?
With the timeless teachings of Buddhism, the wisdom of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and the portable practices of mindfulness, we will take just a little time to integrate this pandemic experience. We’ll be reflecting on this unpredictable time, taking a moment to grieve, as well as to recognize what got you through, to appreciate your own strengths and core values, and to gather some tools to carry with you into the next step.
We’ll have time for tapping into our own resources, guided meditation, some writing exercises, and discussion.
Sliding scale pricing of $25, $35, $45. There are 2 scholarships available for BIPOC folks, please inquire by emailing
