1:1 COACHING WITH E.B. FERDIG
You're not sure you want to quit. You just know something has to change.
You're not drinking that much. Probably 1–2 drinks most nights. It's how you unwind, how you show up to social things, how you take the edge off a hard day. You don't feel like the term "alcoholic" fits — and still, your relationship with alcohol causes you discomfort.
Here's what's also true: you told yourself you wouldn't have any last night. And you did. And you woke up feeling it — physically, and in that quieter way that's harder to name.
You've tried cutting back before. It works for a while. Then it doesn't.
You're tired of the cycle. You're just not sure you're ready to call it a problem.
I spent years in exactly that place. I understand ambivalence. I'm not here to tell you to quit.
I'm here to help you get honest with yourself about what alcohol is actually costing you — and then decide what you want to do about it.

"The edge of the day I thought I was taking off with wine was actually the edge of my own truth."

What's happening in your body isn't in your head
Women process alcohol differently than men. Lower body water, less of the ADH enzyme — the effects hit harder and last longer. In perimenopause and menopause, alcohol directly worsens the symptoms you're already managing: disrupted sleep, hot flashes, mood swings, weight changes. That guilt you feel the morning after? Part of it is biochemistry. Your body is telling you something real.
Who this is for
You've tried cutting back
It works for a bit, then doesn't. The cycle feels frustrating and a little shameful.
You're in midlife
Your body is changing. What used to feel like relaxing now feels like something else.
The label doesn't fit
"Alcoholic" isn't you. But "fine" isn't quite right either.
You're curious, not committed
You're not sure you want to quit forever. You just want to think it through with someone who gets it.

What clients say
Our Clients Reviews & Testimonials
"Ten months ago, I was sober-curious but stuck in a cycle of taking breaks and slipping back. I was exhausted by trying to limit my drinking to a 'healthy' amount. Now I'm nine months alcohol-free, with more energy, confidence, and clarity than ever. I wake up feeling proud instead of regretful. Working with E.B. is truly life-changing."

"Having weekly check-ins and being able to communicate through quick video chats were very beneficial. Accountability to my coach for several weeks is what seems to have made the difference. Happy to report that I continue to live clean, sober and nicotine free. I did it and EB was a big part of that!"
